An Approach to Reliability Modeling and Reliability Apportionment of Train Communication Network Control System

Abstract:Train Communication Network is the key technical product which is the most high-tech, difficult and significant for rail transportation equipment. A TCN reliability model is built and an approach to product reliability apportionment based on cost coefficient control is proposed in view of the reliability apportionment limitations of current engineering application. After correcting the relative cost coefficient according to the developed product reliability parameters and important product reliability parameters, we obtained product reliability apportionment parameters based on the corrected cost coefficient by employing Lagrange multiplier rule and derived the expressions of calculation of units' reliability. The product reliability apportionment parameters meet the engineering requirements and the rapid calculation speed and easy application.
