Evaluation and Classification for Customer Value of Steel Enterprise

Abstract:Aimed at the direct customer of steel enterprise, this paper puts forward three-layer evaluation index system of customer value, and provides customer classification method which is based on this evaluation index system and self-organizing mapping (SOM) network. It analyzes the feature of each kinds of customer and proposes the corresponding strategy to develop customer relationship. Finally, it shows us the real example of this evaluation index system and classification method for customer value. The result proves the feasibility and validity of this index system and method.
