Abstract:In the hydropower plant structure, the plate is the most basic component.In order to use the ANSYS software to simulate the structure of hydropower station, it is necessary to study how to simulate these basic component accurately.The similarities and the difference between the solid element and the plate element is reviewed when trying to simulate the plate structure.And also study on thin plate structure.Solid element cannot simulate the static and dynamic behavior of the specific structure accurately because of "shear locking" phenomenon.And the plate element can only simulate some specific structure without losing accuracy.How to use ANSYS software to simulate the static and dynamic behavior of hydropower plant structure is studied.
