A highly specific BODIPY-based probe localized in mitochondria for HClO imaging

摘要：An oxime containing fluorescent probe based on a BODIPY scaffold was successfully designed and used for HClO determination with rapid response, low detection limits and high selectivity. Confocal fluorescence microscopy demonstrated that the probe could permeate the mitochondria and made possible the fast fluorescent imaging of endogenous HClO.
