摘要:In this paper, a mechanics model of the robot, which is actuated by the giant magnetostrictive material (GMM), is presented and the rule between the driving force and frequencies is found under the external magnetic field. A new type fish-like robot is optimized and devised, in which the robot has two tails and can swim directly forward and backward. Optimized modes of the swing are revealed and can be controlled by adjusting the external magnetic field. The propulsion and velocity of the robot are shown. © 2008 Springer Berlin Heidelberg.
