郭新闻,大连理工大学化工学院教授,博士生导师,现任大连理工大学盘锦校区管委会副主任,教学与科研工作部部长。享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家,英国皇家化学会会士,辽宁省化工学会副理事长,国家重点研发项目计划项目负责人,国家重点研发计划项目“十四五”催化科学总体专家组成员,辽宁省“百千万人才工程”百人层次,教育部“新世纪优秀人才”人选,教育部“21世纪教育振兴行动计划“资助者,辽宁省“兴辽英才“高水平创新团队负责人,辽宁省优秀研究生导师团队负责人,辽宁省优秀博士学位论文指导教师,智能材料化工教育部前沿科学中心碳中和关键技术研究与示范团队负责人,大连市优秀专家,大连市领军人才,大连理工大学创新团队负责人,大连理工大学大煜学者优秀青年人才培养人等。曾担任大连理工大学化学工程与工艺专业负责人,2014年代表985高校接受国际观察员全程参与的工程教育专业认证,为我国顺利加入《华盛顿协议》做出重要贡献。
长期从事分子筛催化、择形催化、选择氧化、二氧化碳催化转化的研究,研制的钛硅分子筛催化剂完成百吨级工业放大,成功应用于怡达15万吨环氧丙烷工业示范装置;研制的改性纳米片ZSM-5分子筛催化剂,应用于苯与稀乙烯烷基化制乙苯,在东方石化完成千吨级中试;研制的改性纳米ZSM-5分子筛催化剂,应用于甲苯与甲醇择形催化制对二甲苯,在中海油大榭石化完成千吨级中试。曾获国家科技进步二等奖、中国石油和化学工业协会科技进步一等奖和青年科技突出贡献奖、国家级教学成果一等奖、辽宁省科学技术进步一等奖、辽宁省教学成果一等奖等。申请发明专利30项,授权15项,在Nature Comm., Science Adv.,JACS, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.,Adv. Mater.,ACS Catal., AICHE J.等主流期刊上发表SCI论文617篇,ESI高被引论文13篇,他引21492次,H-index为74。入选2024年ScholarGPS发布的高排名学者全球前0.05%顶尖科学家近五年(Highly Ranked Scholar-Prior 5 Years)榜单。
