Abstract: Titanium silicon catalytic materials gives new ways for the studies of the catalytic oxidizing reactions and the exploitation of the environmental benign chemical engineering processes. Titania-silica mixed oxides has attracted more attention because of its tailor preparing method and the easy operating process. This article summarizes the preparation of titania-silica mixed oxides. The factors effecting on the character and catalytic properties of the materials , such as preparing method, drying method, content of titanium and surface modification, as well as the prospect of application have been discussed.
