Abstract:The state-of-the-art of preparing hydrogen peroxide was surveyed on the basis of the introduction of electrolysis, anthraquinone, alcohol oxidation and direct reaction of hydrogen and oxygen, and the like. The integrated process of hydrogen peroxide production by anthraquinone process or alcohol oxidation process and synthesis of propylene oxide by epoxidation of propylene, and synthesis in situ using hydrogen, oxygen and propylene were described. It was pointed out that the latter was the most prospective one to produce propylene oxide, but the low yield of propylene oxide was the main problem of the method, and the improvement of the catalyst synthesis was the key to its industrialization.
