摘要：Based on full-scale test data, the sliding resistance and reinforcement effect are revealed using several different analysis methods. A new circular sliding surface passing the maximal vertical settlement point, which is the center point of the interface between embankment and geofabric, is put forward. An applied simplified circular failure analysis method, which can take the role of geofabric into account more reasonably for computing the factor of safety of the embankment with reinforced underlying layers, is brought forward also.
