Abstract: The three-dimensional (313) reconstruction of microscopic objects in. micromanipulation system is studied and a novel microscopic imaging model for determining the projection from 3D object-space to 2D image -space is formulated from the optical structure of stereo light microscope. And a new concept, weak disparity to describe the properties of micro computer vision (MCV), is defined. The application of this imaging model in 3D surface reconstruction is demonstrated.
