Abstract:An NH(2)-functionlized [Fe(2)S(2)] model complex of the iron-only hydrogenase active site was covalently linked to the tris( bipyridine) ruthenium photosensitizer. The [RuFeFe] trinuclear complex 1 was characterized by MS, IR, UV-vis, (1)H & (13)C NMR spectra. A quasi-reversible reduction peak at - 1.41V versus Ag/Ag(+) for the Fe(I)Fe(I)/Fe(I)Fe(0) process is observed in the cyclic voltammogram of 1.

Pre One:Octacarbonyl(5-methoxy-2,3-dihydro1H-benzimidazol-2-yl)di-mu 3-sulfido-diiron(I) iron(II)(2 Fe-Fe)

Next One:Iron(III) complexes with a tripodal N3O ligand containing an internal base as a model for catechol intradiol-cleaving dioxygenases
