Abstract:The creep rupture property of 25Cr35Ni (HP40) steel is analyzed by using L-M and M-H parameters. It is found that even though the master curve has a good correlation with the experimental data using L-M parameter (P-LM,(sigma)=T(logt(r)+C), where C=20), the extrapolated curves have an obvious deviation with the experimental data. While for M-H parameter, a set of constant (P-MH(sigma)=(log t(r) - log t(a))/(T-Ta), where T-a-450, log t(a)=15) which is named as MHZ constant is proposed to correlate the creep rupture data. It exhibits a good agreement with the experimental data promulgated by NIMS. The result was also compared with that by using M-H constant (0, 20.465) recommended by NIMS.
