摘要:China has multiple giant inter basin hydropower systems with the rapid development of hydropower systems in the past two decades. The challenges to the operation management of the large scale hydropower systems are tremendous. Flexible strategy searching algorithms are proposed to address the optimization problems of inter basin hydropower systems. Two calculation modes of deepth and scope priority, and the unidimensional or multidimensional flexible strategies are proposed to decrease dimensionality and increase solution quality for problems with different styles and scales. The algorithms absorbed the ideas from multiple classical optimal algorithms such as progressive optimality algorithm, discrete differential dynamic programming and dynamic programming successive approximation. The inter basin hydropower reservoir systems of China Southern Power Grid are used to test these algorithms. The results of case study show that they can find good solution efficiently for inter basin hydropower long term operation problems and gain insight into compensatory operations, with better hydropower system resources allocation and comprehensive benefits.
