Abstract:In view of the quality of Work-in-process(WIP) Management has a major impact on the implementation effect of an enterprise management information system,a WIP management system is designed and realized to meet the demand of discrete manufacturing enterprise workshop.The WIP management system is divided into four major functional modules: workshop system maintenance module,workshop WIP management module,workshop input-output WIP management module and workshop working procedure WIP management module.Real-time information static structure model,the historical information static structure model and the input-output query static structure model are proposed.Microsoft VB.NET and SQL Sever 2000 are selected as program and database development and design tools,and a WIP management system is realized.Application case shows that the WIP management system realizes the effective management of WIP.
