Abstract:To study the linearity and sensitivity of the permalloy force transducer,this paper does some experimental analyses and researches on the linearity and sensitivity characteristics of the designed permalloy magneto-elastic force transducer under the conditions of different pre-load,different load scope and different magnetism excitation frequency.It utilized the ratio of maximal error between theoretical working curve and the practical working curve to the full measurement range of the output to indicate the linearity of the sensor,choose the average output value of each rising and return node to demarcate the linearity of the sensor.The experiments proved that the linearity and sensitivity of the sensor would increase with the increase in pre-load,while decrease with the increase of the maximal load.The sensitivity of the sensor would increase with the decrease of the magnetism excitation frequency.An decrease in magnetism excitation frequency with a certain maximum load would improve the linearity of the sensor.
