Abstract:Environmental impact assessment should be made for great ocean projects before construction. Since environment survey cost was high, and the preliminary environmental impact assessment could be used to make decision in the stage of engineering research and argumentation, only part of environmental impact indices were selected in the research. Based on environmental impact data of the existing coastal projects, the impact of great ocean projects on ecological environment was economically estimated by analyzing and computing finite sample points, which could provide evidence for macro-decision making. The channel across Bohai Straits was also taken as an example to analyze and calculate the numerical ranges for different environmental impact indices.
