1. Capture and detection of circulating tumor cells
Construction of new biomaterials or biotechnology for capture and detection of circulating tumor cells.
2. Biomedical materials for removal of blood toxins
Design and synthesize polymer materials for removal of blood hydrophobic toxins bound to plasma proteins.
3. Hemocompatible biomaterials
Design of anticoagulant or anti-complement activated biomaterial surfaces.
