Personal Profile
Jun Yang, Ph.D., Professor, Doctoral Supervisor. Director of Liaoning Provincial Demonstration Center for Bioexperiment Teaching. Serving as Vice Chairman of Liaoning Zoological Society, Executive Director of the Advanced Medical-Engineering Integration Technology Committee of Liaoning Cell Biology Society, Director of Dalian Institute of Stem Cells and Precision Medicine Innovation, Associate Editor of the SCI journal Engineering in Life Sciences, and Editorial Board Member of Scientific Reports, Advanced Cancer.
Addressing the major needs of human health, plant/animal protection, and ecological environment governance, Prof. Yang takes nucleic acid molecules (RNA/DNA) as the unifying research object and has established an integrated research system of "AI-assisted target discovery and drug design — bioinspired nanodelivery — green formulation adaptation," forming generic technologies and products in both nucleic acid medicine and nucleic acid pesticides. His main research directions include: nucleic acid targeted drug development; bioinspired nanocarriers and drug delivery system construction (plant/microbial-derived extracellular vesicles and their engineering); and nucleic acid biomarker mining and rapid detection. In recent years, he has presided over dozens of projects including National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) General Programs, National Key R&D Program sub-projects, provincial/municipal foundation/planning projects, and key medical-engineering cross-disciplinary projects.
The team recruits postdoctoral researchers year-round with backgrounds in bioinformatics, agronomy, medicine, etc. Applicants should have obtained a doctoral degree from a well-known university within the past 3 years, be in good health, possess a rigorous scientific attitude, team spirit, solid research foundation, and strong research capability. The appointment is for 2–3 years with clear assessment targets, providing an excellent growth environment and competitive salary/benefits. Details: .
