Haidong LI received his B.S. degree from Lanzhou University, and obtained his PhD from Dalian University of Technology under the supervision of Prof. Xiaojun PENG (Academician of the Chinese Academy of Science). Then, he joined the Department of Chemistry and Nanoscience, Ewha Womans University, where he was a postdoctoral fellow in the group of Prof. Juyoung YOON (Academician of the Korean Academy of Sciences). Now, he is an associate professor of State Key Laboratory of Fine Chemicals, School of Bioengineering at Dalian University of Technology. His current research interest is focused on activatable bioprobes, biomaterials, and theranostic agents. Prof. Dr. Li has published more than 70 papers in international journals (including JACS, Angew, Chem. Sci, Biomaterials, Adv. Sci, J. Control. Release) with citation over 4800 and an H-index of 40 (Google Scholar). He was selected as RSC Chemical Communications 2025 Emerging Investigators, Stanford University's Top 2% Global Top Scientists (2022-2025), and ScholarGPS 2024's top 0.05% global Top Scholars list. He also served as the Vice Chairman of the Innovation and Transformation Committee of Gynecological Tumor of Liaoning Society for Cell Biology, the member of Fine Chemical Youth Committee of The Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China (CIESC), the Editorial Board of Molecules, the Young Editorial Board of CIESC Journal (China), Chemical Industry and Engineering Progress (China), Fine Chemicals (China), and Smart Molecules (Wiley).
