摘要：In this paper, the nonlinear transformation is introduced into the KdV equation with space-dependent coefficients and then a generalized KdV equation is obtained. This generalized equation shares the same constitutive relation with the wave function in water of variable depth. Furthermore, the exact rational solutions of this equation under certain conditions is given by using a newly general Riccati equation expansion method.
