His research fields are medical image processing and analysis, computer-aided diagnosis and machine learning. In recent years, he has researched on accurate and efficient analysis of medical images to provide assisted information for disease diagnosis, such as computer-aided diagnosis system on diffuse lung diseases and COVID-19, and accurate segmentation of retinal vessels via deep neural networks.
