Abstract:The five hole probe is an accurate tool for measuring the flow field of the impeller.The bending deformation and vibration of the probe in the flow field will affect the accuracy of the test.By means of numerical simulation and experimental test, the deformation and vibration of the probe in different support position and velocity are studied.The results show that the deformation of the probe is influenced greatly by the support position and the velocity of the air.The maximum deformation of the probe head reaches 1mm when the air velocity is 80m/s and the support point is 176mm.And the accuracy of the measurement is affected.The vibration of the probe is little influenced by the velocity of the air and will not happen the induced vibration because of Carmen vortex induced flow.The influence of probe vibration on measurement accuracy can be ignored.
