Abstract: This paper proposed an event-triggered mechanism for first-order unstable processes. A control system based on a new event-triggered mechanism and a PI controller is designed for set-point tracking and the load disturbance rejection. A stability analysis and a tuning method are provided. The effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method is demonstrated by a simulation example.
