Abstract:Divertor detachment regime is required for the future tokamak device operation. The radiative divertor with neon-impurity seeding on EAST tokamak is studied by using SOLPS code package in the present study. By comparing the puffing location at dome and upstream, the impact of the neon-seeding location on the divertor plasma is identified, under different puffing duration and rate condition. The impurity distribution and its resulting power radiation are analyzed to explain the reason of impurity puffing location impact. The simulation results indicate that puffing at the divertor region has more advantages than puffing at upstream region.
