微弧氧化处理TC4合金表面微动磨损性能

Abstract:A high hardness ceramic coating was prepared on the surface of TC4 titanium alloy by a micro-arc oxidation method. The fretting wear behavior of the coating was investigated. Results show that Al2TiO5 is the main crystal phase of the coating. The hardness distribution is not uniform, which increases firstly and then decreases form the interface to the surface. The maximum hardness is 11500 MPa, which is much higher than that of the titanium matrix. The compact layer of the coating plays a key role in protection. At the initial wear stage, the loose layer peels off and accumulates, accompanied with severe wear of the friction pair. At the stable stage, sliding wear is dominant, the wear of the dense layer is slight, and the wear debris of the alloy transfers from the friction pair to the dense layer.
